We are a charitable organization that provide ‘Getting Married Evenings and Afternoons’, marriage preparation courses and mentoring for engaged couples and those contemplating marriage in the North Somerset area of England.
We are very passionate about encouraging couples to invest time in their relationship by starting their married life with the best advice available.
Our events are endorsed by the churches and local authorities alike.
Married or Getting Married ?
Our evenings and day events are suitable for all couples regardless of whether you have been in that relationship for a long or short time, whether you are already living together, or one or both of you have been married before.
‘Marriage by Design’
This year we are running ‘Marriage by Design’ sessions on behalf of ‘Care for the Family’ - a national charity. These Sunday afternoon sessions are a great way for engaged couples to take some time out from the Wedding preparations, to focus on the purpose of why you are getting married. During these afternoons we present a number of themed talks, interspersed with video clips of married couples talking about relevant relationship issues. During the afternoon you will have the opportunity to share, privately, with your partner, your feelings as to the topics raised. It’s challenging, fun and you might learn something about your partner that you never knew. We realise that for many couples they have been with each other for a considerable time, may be living together, or have children but there’s still so much to learn about enriching and developing a relationship to make it stronger and rewarding. These practical presentations have been professionally and carefully designed to provide you with tools to handle the ups and downs of marriage, with thought provoking tips on handling conflict, appreciating each others differences, sex, in-laws, finance, friendship and values, the language of love, communications, promises and commitment.

Enriching and revitalizing Marriages
We also provide support for couples that have been married from between 2 years through to 30 years or more. Our courses are about discovering more about your partner rather than counselling.
There is definitely no group work. Courses are provided in a range of venues. The day or evening sessions are designed to be relaxed and romantic. Many couples remark that it’s a bit like dating again.
